Robert “Ken” Matthews, Maintenance Worker I for the St James Veterans Home was selected as the Missouri Veteran Commission November 2007 Employee of the Month.

Ken was selected for his positive, cooperative attitude, along with his experience and knowledge, which has been an irreplaceable asset to the St James Veterans Home. Ken was instrumental in helping to improve the work space efficiency at the Home by redesigning the administration work area and medical records office area. Ken’s woodworking skills saved the Home many dollars as evidenced by the work done in these areas.
