Celestina Rahm, Cook I from the Warrensburg Veterans Home has been selected as the Missouri Veterans Commission February 2008 Employee of the Month.

Celestina was selected for her commitment and dedication to the residents of the Warrensburg Veterans Home. Celestina demonstrated great initiative and concern for the well-being of the residents in December 2006 when she walked over two miles during an ice storm to make sure the dietary needs of the residents were met. In December 2007, with the expectation of yet another ice storm, Celestina with concern for the residents, made arrangements to stay close to the home that evening just in case she was needed if other staff were unable to make it to work the next morning.
